My beef with Essence Music Festival and I am not talking about McDonald beef!
My beef with Essence Music Festival was their wasn't ENOUGH of ME to enjoy all of the festivities from the educational seminars at the Louisiana Convention Center to the slamming concerts at the Louisiana Superdome. I needed to be cloned into 3 people to go to all the events.
Monica, Raphael Saadiq, Charlie Wilson, Janet Jackson had the fans in up roar that Friday night of the 4th of July Weekend on the main stage
Saturday night was on with Keri Hilson, LL Cool J, Glady's night, and Alicia Keys did there thing on the main stage at the Superdome.
Sunday night was the closing night of the fourth of July weekend on the main stage at the Louisiana Superdome. Trey Songz, Jill Scott, Mary J Blidge, and Earth Winda & Fire were awesome!

Kingi Knox host Louisiana Experiance at Essence Music festival convention center
I hosted the Louisiana Experience stage at the Louisiana Convention center. Angela Bell and Company who wrote and sang the Saints victory song "I Believe" did there thang with Blues and R&B for the Essence fans at the Louisiana Convention Center. BBD gave a great concert. The stage had a radius of 120 of Essence fans. The fun then stop there. BBD performance was so great that the entire left wing of the Louisiana Convention stopped to enjoy BBD sing BBD and New Editions. Many fans could not see BBD, but they could here there performance throughout the left wing of the Convention center. The song Posion was the most loved by the fans. My cousin, Malik Dilworth, was helping the event coordinator Daryl. They were waiting for me to interview BBD. I was headed across the hallway to interview BBD at the McDonald stage...then I got stopped by an Louisiana Experience fan after I introduced Angela Bell and Company asked me to 2nd line (electric slide) with them...so it was on....ANYTHING FOR THE FANS!!! We did the 2nd line to 3 songs as Angela Bell and Company rocked the Louisiana Experience stage. Then I changed the space and said, "Let's do the Soul Train line". We did the Soul Train Line for four songs as Angela Bell and Company did there thang. We had so much fun!
BENTLEY KYLE EVANS stopped by our stage to show support and he introduced me to his partner STAN WASHINGTON. I told Bentley and Stan, that Louisiana fan Beverly Turner told me how much she loves TATYANA ALI's "Love That Girl". Bentley sister and his nephew NILE EVANS are also part of the production team for Tatyana Ali's TV1 "Love That Girl" that is airing this fall season. The EVANS family are like the WAYANS family with employing a lot of their family members. It's all good...keep it in the family.
Bentley and Stan were headed to the Coors stage for Doug E. Fresh performance. I wasn't able to attend because I had to continuing hosting at the Louisiana experience stage. Then, after talking to Beyonce dad, MATHEW KNOWELS, I promised I would to to interview. Beyonce mom, Tina Knowels to promote her new clothing line at the Walmart stage at 4:00p.m.
I heard that AL B SURE opened for DOUG E FRESH and that the concert was awesome....THIS IS WHERE MY CLONE COULD HAVE HELPED ME OUT WITH ESSENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL FUN!!!!

LL Cool J interviewed by Kingi Knox. LL Cool J gave outstanding performance at Essence Music Festival fans
LL COOL J is hard as ******. LL Cool J had the men rocking the bells and the women under his spell with Paradise. LL COOL J is THE TRUTH. I, Kingi Knox, deem LL COOL J as the TRUTH because his lyrics are versatile. Not one-sided. He will educate you. HE WILL entertain you. HE WILL help the fellas with their romance game. HE WILL show the women appreciation. HE WILL inspire you to dream. HE WILL inspire you to tithe your first fruits. HE WILL motivate you to keep your head up during the struggle. LL Cool J is the TRUTH because he genuinely love his fans and is a genius with his versatile lyrics.
LL Cool J made sure to connect with fans. A LL Cool J fans, said "LL...I love you". LL Cool J from the stage during the middle of his performance said, "I love you back". She screamed as her friends picked her up as she feel to the floor. Wow! Then, I continue to enjoy the concert by dancing where I was standing...then...then...LL Cool J told the camera man, "Put the camera on her". He said it 3 times. I am so slow. I looked back to see who he was talking about. Then the ladies behind me said, "Girl you did great. They had you on the screen real big". I was surprised! Then, I was able to dance on stage with LL Cool J. Wow, that was so FUN!

Raphael Saadiq rocked the House at Essence Music Festival. Our interview last year was great when he shared how he enjoyed performing Anniversary last year for Essence Music Festival 20th Anniversary.
This year all the fans enjoyed every song as they cooed and applauded.
CHARLIE WILSON was AMAZING at Essence Music Festival 2010
My uncle got on stage. He was so handsome as he made the Essence family proud. You know my uncle. Now you know my Uncle...Uncle Charlie ...On a Board...I was like Chu Chu Uncle Charlie as he opened with hit Song. I had so much fun.
Many Essence asked me to PLLLLEEEAAAASE to ask Essence to have Charlie Wilson to perform every year. Listen to my interview with Charlie Wilson.
