MICHAEL B JORDAN makes history acting as a GREAT Hero in BLACK PANTHER with global success premiered for BLACK HISTORY Month~

Michael B. Jordan made history in February with BLACK PANTHER with over $1 Billion of sales opening weekend. Fans are still buzzing since it’s February 15th release. FANS were excited to attend the movie in their African garments and African support.

I worked Michael B. Jordan when he was Michael Jordan in Hardball. For SAG and branding purposes. He  had to change his name to Michael B. Jordan, which is known and loved around the world. I worked with Michael B. on the set of Hardball. My scene was edited out yet, I treasured the conversations with the young Hardball boys as I gave them tips about life and preparing them for their future in entertainment. Each of the them listened with intensity and respect. They continued the conversations  with questions of growing up from BOYZ II Men.

I am proud of Michael B. Jordan’s BLACK PANTHER success, Kris Lofton’s BALLERS success, Julian Griffith CHICAGO PD success, and the entire HARDBALL boys. I am most proud with all of their individual success and happiness because each of them remain humble. They have went from BOYZ II MEN from Hardball to Hollywood with GLOBAL SUCCESS ~

I met Poetess on the Jamie Foxx show. She was nice and laid back.
We shared more words at the Dave Brown party for the MTV VMAs that inspired me because I was able to see the humble side in the party atmosphere. In studio, she is aggressive one that kept us on track with our subject because at times the Foxxhole crew can get off book. ESPN’s John Sawatsky and Poetess taught me to ask the great lead in questions to get the interviewee to open about the subject. Poetess has always kept an open door for mentoring in a sisterly fashion.

“I AM THE CELIBATE NYMPHO”, is what I heard Tanjareen Martin say over the Sirius XM air waves for Speedy’s Comedy Corner on the FOXXHOLE channel. I was engaged as FANS joked with Tanjareen as she started her countdown over. “Ok. I have been Celibate for 32 days. I had to start over.” It hit me I didn’t have a Radio handle. It was ok because I was surrounded by GREAT Radio personalities Speedy (Donald Caldwell), Johnny MF Mack, Lewis Dix, Corey Holcomb, Rodney Perry, Zo Williams, and Clayton Thomas. I was in awe watching them.

       

 Jamie Foxx had a new show from G’s to GENT on MTV hosted by Fonsworth Bentley. I was so GREATful for the opportunity. I walked in the studio session with my 2 pages of notes from watching the elimination to the remaining contestants. Johnny Mack suggested I do the commentary segment. Tanjareen gave me props and she said, “that is Kingi’s thing. Let her do the commentary weekly.” I went from NO RADIO HANDLE to a SEGMENT COMMENTARY for MTV’s G’s to GENT produced by Jamie Foxx on FOXXHOLE.

Tanjareen Martin found her husband Clayton Thomas at FOXXHOLE. Foxxhole is more than entertainment it is a FAMILY. Tanjareen had a podcast on EATING VEGAN (that is how she keeps her beauty and body glowing). She would talk to me what is good for you. At that moment, I started  eating avocado.

We all have a story and that story becomes a journey that journey becomes part of history or her story. I met Claudia Jordan when I co-hosted the Jamie Foxx show for the Foxxhole channel. I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect from co-hosting the Speedy’s Comedy Corner that Wednesday. Then, Claudia Jordan greets me with “Hey girl what’s up?” I returned greeting with a smile and hello. Claudia Jordan down-to-earth personality set the tone for the entire show. Speedy (Donald Caldwell) looked at me and smiled, “Ok, here is the show format.” As I looked around the room knowing Claudia from Price is Right and Deal or No Deal and the entire radio star talent cast, I was impressed with their confidence and positivity. We were asked what kind of lover we like. I said on air, “I like a guy who is unpredictable. A guy who makes a dinner while making a movie.” Johnny Mack said, “ahhh you trying to kiss up to Jamie Foxx”. I replied, “No. I like a guy who is not a cookie cutter not using the same formula of approach from the last girl.”

Immediately after my comment, they played “Unpredictable” taking us into commercial. During commercial break Claudia told me that was clever and I was doing great. About a couple a months later, I saw Claudia Jordan and Tanjareen Thomas glammed up looking beautiful at a Jamie Foxx house party. We all set around the kitchen table discussing dating men in the industry vs men outside the industry. I still treasure the honesty of the conversation. HERstory from Foxxhole to The Real Housewives of Atlanta Housewives inspired my HERstory.
