STAN FOSTER pulled off an ALL STAR cast that delivered a message that was entertaining.
It was refreshing to see LeToya LUCKETT do her thing in this movie as she has rocked it for us at Gramling State University homecoming. I was excited and proud to see the talented KING KEDAR do his thing in this movie as I have watch him take the stage at Pookey Wigington's Chocolate Sundaes. ESSENCE ATKINS character was so bubbly and genuine as she represented the spiritual wisdom in Preacher's Kid. Peaches played by Essence told LeToya character Angie, "ONCE THE TEST IS OVER...GOD IS GOING TO GIVE YOU A MARVELOUS TESTIMONY."
CLIFTON POWELL and ELLA JOYCE did a beautiful job in this movie because they SAID ALOT without SAYING ALOT. Personally, I will like to see these two in a television show. I know they can enterain us with truth and laughter.
I have watched TANK at the E-League(celebrity basketball league of Hollywood writers, producers, actors, and singers), started by CYLK COZART, play with fellow E-League mates Jamie Foxx, Speedy, Marcus King, Morris Chestnut, Allen Payne, Mike Law, Adam Sandler, Michael B. Jordan, Ice Cube, Bill Bellamy, Guy Tory, Joe Tory, Lamont Ferrell, Flex, A.Z. Vernon, Nile Evans, Brian McKnight ....ok...enough name dropping...smiles....NOW the point...lol =)
I watched Tank play competiviely with these guys yet I can sit on the bench with him and have a causal conversation with him...the person not the singer and not the basketball player. The role he played in Preacher's Kid took me by surprised. I hated him. Me hate Tank...well not Tank... the character he played...wow...
This movie is a MUST SEE...I love this movie not because of the talented cast...because it was entertaining and funny.
