Happy SAINTS Day!!! New Orleans SAINTS defeats Colts 31 to 17!

That is the spirit in Louisiana during Mardi Gras. Wow, what a month? The world was able to experience the Mardi Gras celebration New Orleans style. Before the official Mardi Gras week, the Saints (Super Bowl Champions) were greeted at home with approximately 20,000 Saints fans after they defeated the Colts in Miami with the highest television ratings with 106.5 million viewers watching the Super bowl XLIV. Mayor Ray Nagin and the city of New Orleans gave the Saints a parade on that Tuesday after their Monday night arrival with 800,000 fans in attendance. Mayor Nagin, Governor Bobby Jindal, and other politicians gave owner Tom Benson a toast for his 1st Super Bowl victory and keeping the Saints in New Orleans. Additionally, we can thank Attorney General Buddy Caldwell for keeping WHO DAT for the Saints fans as he won the legal case against the NFL.

AG Caldwell was honored to be at Eddie G. Robinson Museum opening. WHO DAT!!! WHO DAT!!! The Saints victory sent a message to the world that when you believe and have faith you can achieve. The Saints quickly became America’s team when people remembered where they came from and their previous circumstances. With the Hurricane Katrina devastation, the team was displaced because of the destruction of the Superdome and not having a place to continue their season. Now, the people of New Orleans can have something else to celebrate as they, like the Phoenix, rise again to begin again.
