The film is set in the deep south, where the film follows Django (FOXX), a freed slave who treks across America with Dr. King Schultz (WALTZ) a bounty hunter.
I had a chance to meet and talk with Samuel Jackson at the New Orleans HORNET's game. We discussed his upcoming movie and he expressed that he was impressed with my media history of working on Speedy's Comedy Comedy corner for Jamie Foxx FOXXHOLE. Samuel was in New Orleans working on the movie titled "Meeting Evil", also starring Luke Wilson. Samuel was very down to earth as he passed through the floor and some Hornets fans got a chance to speak to him in person as they were excited by his responsive greeting. I told Samuel that he is VERY HANDSOME in person as he rocked a casual look at the game.
Reginald Hudlin is my FACEBOOK Friend. And that is something to brag about? lol. No, it is not something to brag about. I was surprised by our Facebook friendship. I sent him a birthday greeting (not expecting a response). Reginald responded "thanks Kingi!". Wow, I was taken back. I took the opportunity to let him know that Boomerang and House Party starring Kid N' Play, Full Force, Tisha Campbell, Robin Harris, and Martin are part of my favorite movies collection. Reginald is a very attractive man that surprised me with his kindness and humility.
Jamie has been making his rounds promoting Django Unchained. I was able to watch Jamie Foxx on the show Ellen DeGeneres talk show as he shared with his FANS that he rode his own horse in Django Unchained. Jamie interview was very funny as he shared his growth...from not being a confident horse rider to the experienced horse rider you will see in Django Unchained. Jamie interview was very animated as he made horse noises telling a very funny story about overcoming his fears riding his horse in Django Unchained.
