President BARACK OBAMA speaks to eager FANS at McKinley Senior High School in Baton Rouge for a GREAT Town Hall Meeting on January 14th


The 44th President of United States of America, President Barack Obama, spoke to ADORING FANS at McKinley Senior High School, which is my Dad (Henry Knox, Jr.) and Aunts' (Susan Hayes and Priscilla Cooper) school. Hail to McKinley!. Each FAN was eager to ask their President question for the Town Hall Meeting. President Barack Obama was their to support the new governor of Louisiana who is Democrat, John Bell Edwards as well express his joy to be in Baton Rouge, LA. President Obama shared, "I am doing all of my fun trips my last year in office".
President Obama shared much love for the State of Louisiana as he gave kudos to his friends New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and Baton Rouge Mayor, my friend and mentor, Kip Holden. President Obama thanked McKinley’s Student of the Year, Che’dre Joseph for introducing him with confidence and courage.
 
He also encouraged students to get an education as he expressed the one in a million chance to be a star like LSU's Basketball player Ben Simmons as he expressed geaux LSU with an X.
 
One FAN asked about cancer. He humbly admitted that they might not be a cure for cancer during his lifetime, but he encouraged the young student to study math and science so she can be a part of the cure for the next generation.
 
One FAN asked if he approves Michelle Obama to run for President as the crowd roared. He said “I can guarantee three things. Death, taxes, and Michelle will not be running for president”. As the crowd, laughed with admiration. 
 
One FAN asked about succeeding in the HBCU.  The role of HGCU in producing our leadership and expanding opportunity has been powerful and continues to be a powerful tradition.  If you go to an employer and make the kind of presentation that a Morehouse man makes or a Spelman woman, you do just fine and you will succeed.
 
He closed out to Louisiana with his FAMILY salutations from Michelle, Malia, Sasha , Sunny, and Bo.
