My 2 favorite PRINCE moments at ESSENCE Festival
1. Prince to ESSENCE Fans "What do you want to hear?"
Fans screamed their favorite songs. I screamed, "You Need Another Lover"
Prince as he put his hand to his ear "WHAT?"
Fans repeated their song request.
Prince replied, "I can't hear you. Ok. I will play this..."
Then Prince played KISS.
2. Quiet in Superdome. Then graphics came up with fireworks, and red, white, and blue colors. FANS are looking and asking each other what is going on?
Then Prince said, "Happy 4th of July!!!"
Fans started screaming, Ahhhh we forgot it was of 4th of July"
We forgot it was 4th of July, because everybody was so focused on finding perfect PURPLE attire for PRINCE PURPLE NIGHT.
