PUBLIC ENEMY was inducted into ROCK N' ROLL Hall of FAME.

Spike Lee and Harry Belafonte inducted the men of PUBLIC ENEMY with praise and respect. I love the history of Public Enemy. Public Enemy stood for TRUTH and UNITY. I loved Harry's... swag as he recited lyrics from Public Enemy's "Don't Believe the Hype". Spike expressed how he asked Chuck D to write an anthem for his movie "Do the Right Thing". On the second attempt, Chuck D nailed an anthem with FIGHT THE POWER. You see sometimes we don't succeed on the 1st attempt...when we TRY and TRY again (like songs from Jill Scott and Aaliyah) we can MAKE HISTORY and BE a PART of HISTORY. I had the honor and privilege to meet Spike Lee at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles.  He was very witty with low key flare as he sported his sexy New York swag.

Harry Belafonte recited the lyrics from "Don't Believe the Hype" as part of PUBLIC ENEMY's ROCK and ROLL Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
