Wow…Mike and Mike had a genuine rapport with their fans.  After the “Mike and Mike In the Morning” sports talk radio show, MIKE GREENBERG came out to sign autographs and take pictures with their fans.  Mike Greenberg went up and down the row signing autographs. Then Mike asked, “Did I get everyone?  Did everyone get an autograph?”  Sheila who is a 49ers fan from Biloxi was nervous about asking Mike Greenberg for an autograph.  I motioned to Mike that she wanted an autograph.  Mike Greenberg not only gave her an autograph he also took a picture with the fan.

Then MIKE GOLIC walked towards the fans (did you get that…Mike Golic walked to the fans) to sign autographs. He talked to several Saints fans and told them how much he love New Orleans. Mike Golic stated to a Saints Fan couple, “I can live off of beignets and king cake!”

Fans were talking among themselves of how much fun they had as the Mike and Mike crew gave a FREE ESPN t-shirt.  They also cooed how much they enjoyed Mike and Mike’s interview with Drew Brees.

FANS enjoyed the FREE ESPN experience as they enjoyed attending ESPN television and radio for free, along with receiving great ESPN commemorative memorabilia in Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold.  Fans were also able to enjoy ESPN on the HUGE outdoor television in front of the ESPN stages in Jackson square. Several FANS enjoyed watching STEPHEN A. SMITH from First Take, along with Skip Bayless and Danyelle Sargent on the big television screen during Super Bowl XLVII.

“I met my friend, mentor, and Grambling State University Alumni at Eddie G. Robinson memorial service at Louisiana’s State capitol in Baton Rouge.  Baton Rouge is known for Southern University’s Jaguar Nation. On that they Southern University fans and Grambling State University fans came together to pay their respects.  It felt like a family reunion as I shared conversations with Doug and other memorial attendees.

DOUG WILLIAMS encouraged me and supported by consulting on my first television episode of the Saints Fan edition of The GREATEST Fan after Hurricane Katrina.  Then on February 12, 2010, I shared the stage with Doug Williams, Brian Kelly, Mike Tomlin, and GSU Hall of Famers as I hosted the Eddie G. Robinson museum opening in Grambling, La.  Doug Williams is a LEGEND to his FANS, a COACH to his team, and a MAN of strength to his family & friends.” Kingi Knox

DOUG WILLIAMS made history being the 1^st African American quarterback and Super Bowl MVP leading the Washington Redskins to a 42-10 victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXII.  Doug Williams also made history as he returned to coach football at Grambling State University in February 2011.  HE lead his team to State Farm Bayou Classic and SWAC championship victories, while opening doors for the G-Men football players as well as coaching his son, Doug Williams,Jr., teaching the G-Men the game of football as well as the game of life.

CONGRATULATIONS DOUG WILLIAMS!!!

President Obama ROCK STAR Inauguration Celebration return to the WHITE HOUSE covered by Kingi Knox

From CBS commentators to CNN commentators, after observing the enormous picture taking from FANS’ cameras, phones, and IPADS to the over joyous FAN appreciation as they jumped up and down as President Barack Obama and 1^st Lady Michelle Obama walked down Pennsylvania Street on the Parade Route, President Barack Obama was greeted like a ROCK STAR at his Presidential Inauguration on Martin Luther King Day.

First Lady Michelle Obama had the fashion buzz with her beautiful coat dress, which was coordinated with President Obama tie.  CNN fashion style commentators expressed how her style was domestic with a J. Crew belt and gloves as she was conscious of America’s economy.

President Barack Obama 2013 Presidential Inauguration went down in history as the one of the best weather days  with a temperature of 46 degrees and clear sky. 

President Obama watched the parade from the Reviewing Stand, which was right outside the White House fence.  Over 8800 participants were part of the Presidential Inauguration Parade.  Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Marching Band under the direction of Dr. Larry Pannell was part of the closing of the parade.  When CNN commentator announced my Alma Mater’s band, his voice increased with excitement as he expressed his love for the Grambling State University band from Grambling, LA.

When I watched President Barack Obama 1^st Presidential Inauguration, I was in the executive office with my boss at Universal/NBC.  I was touched because I was surrounded by my co-workers that were from different nationalities as we watched Grambling band on my bosses television in her office. The 2013 Presidential Inauguration parade included our AMERICA culture being represented with floats and marching bands from various people around the country. Vice President Joe Biden continued the ROCK STAR vibe while walking on the PARADE route. Biden shook hands and took pictures with FANS that were along the Parade Route.   Punahou High School, which is President Obama Alma Mater, was at at the beginning of the parade celebration.  Other parade participants were:

Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Marching Band at President Obama 2013 Presidential Inauguration covered by Kingi Knox

Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Marching band returns to play for President Obama's 2nd Term Presidential Inauguration after WHITE HOUSE fan fare from President's Obama 1st Presidential Inauguration.

Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Marching Band was part of the closing of the parade.  When CNN commentator announced my Alma Mater’s band, his voice increased with excitement as he expressed his love for the Grambling State University band from Grambling, LA.

Grambling State University band under the direction of Dr. Larry Pannell played the Gap Band's "Early In The Morning".  Band Director Dr. Larry Pannell got the idea from watching President's Obama's efforts from early in the morning to late at night working on getting the deal on the fiscal cliff.

FANS are flocking on Christmas Day to see QUENTIN TARANTINO's DJANGO Unchained starring JAMIE FOXX, CHRISTOPH WALTZ, LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, KERRY WASHINGTON, and SAMUEL JACKSON produced by REGINALD HUDLIN covered by ESPN's Kingi Knox

DJANGO Unchained is a western film that is directed by QUENTIN TARANTINO and produced by REGINALD HUDLIN. The film stars JAMIE FOXX, CHRISTOPH WALTZ, LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, KERRY WASHINGTON, and SAMUEL JACKSON.

The film is set in the deep south, where the film follows Django (FOXX), a freed slave who treks across America with Dr. King Schultz (WALTZ) a bounty hunter.

I had a chance to meet and talk with Samuel Jackson at the New Orleans HORNET's game.  We discussed his upcoming movie and he expressed that he was impressed with my media history of working on Speedy's Comedy Comedy corner for Jamie Foxx FOXXHOLE.  Samuel was in New Orleans working on the movie titled "Meeting Evil", also starring Luke Wilson.  Samuel was very down to earth as he passed through the floor and some Hornets fans got a chance to speak to him in person as they were excited by his responsive greeting.  I told Samuel that he is VERY HANDSOME in person as he rocked a casual look at the game.

Reginald Hudlin is my FACEBOOK Friend. And that is something to brag about? lol.  No, it is not something to brag about.  I was surprised by our Facebook friendship.  I sent him a birthday greeting (not expecting a response).  Reginald responded "thanks Kingi!".  Wow, I was taken back.  I took the opportunity to let him know that Boomerang and House Party starring Kid N' Play, Full Force, Tisha Campbell, Robin Harris, and Martin are part of my favorite movies collection.  Reginald is a very attractive man that surprised me with his kindness and humility.

Jamie has been making his rounds promoting Django Unchained.  I was able to watch Jamie Foxx on the show Ellen DeGeneres talk show as he shared with his FANS that he rode his own horse in Django Unchained.  Jamie interview was very funny as he shared his growth...from not being a confident horse rider to the experienced horse rider you will see in Django Unchained.  Jamie interview was very animated as he made horse noises telling a very funny story about overcoming his fears riding his horse in Django Unchained.
