Living in Los Angeles with the fear of an earthquake over your head it makes the reality of what happened in Haiti can happen to my friends, my colleagues, and me.
Being that I am from Baton Rouge, I have the fear of another Hurricane Katrina or Hurricane Gustav. BILL BELLAMY was hosting a BB King birthday party at the Isle of Capri Casino in Mississippi, and I was filming a commercial for the casino. We talked how we there just days before Hurricane Katrina affected the Gulf Coast.
Disaster can hit at anytime, at anyplace, and to anyone. PREPARATION is the key: have water bottles in stock, canned food you can peel open, peanut butter & jelly, tuna, crackers, medical kit, and mace for your protection against crime.
Open your hearts ...and your wallets to partner with the Red Cross to give to those who are desperately in need from the tragedy in Haiti.
