New Orleans SAINTS has The GREATEST Fans!
It was great to interview the fans before the game. The fans were proud of the NFC Championship opportunity. Fans expressed their love for the Saints players and they boasted how the Saints were going to defeat the Vikings.
ESPN sports center predicted Saints would defeat the Vikings 31 to 24.
The Superdome was loud, crazy, and fun! Fans were line dancing in the hallway at the Superdome everytime there was a touchdown. As fans cheered, they enjoyed their Coors and Budlight beer. Also, the foods of chose were jambalya, crawfish pie, pizza, chicken strips, nachos, hot dogs, and huge turkey legs. Personally, I want to go back to the dome just to spend $40.00 on food.
The game was intense as the Vikings scored the first touch down. Then Saints scored a touch down making it 7 to 7. Then, we went into half time with the Saints and Vikings tied wtih 14 points. Eric a loyal Saints fan commented, "ok it's on now. It is now time to play'.
The half time performance was by Southern University Marching brand. They played a tribute to Michael Jackson as the fans cheered to their Thriller rendition.
At third quarter, the Saints and Vikings tied again with the score being 21 to 21.
Then at fourth quarther, the Saints and Vikings tied again at 28. Saints fan Pam screamed, "Oh my God what is going on. We have to win". She immediately got on her knees and prayed, "Lord, I go to church regularly and I pay my tithes please let the Saints win." Then we went into overtime. The Saints intercepted the ball from the Vikings to end up winning the NFC Championship with a field goal making the final score 31 to 28.
Well, praise God! Many of the fans prayers were answerd.
